Lindsey Odom
Lindsey is a Graphic Designer and Communications Specialist who has thus far focused her career primarily on philanthropic and academic work with non-profits and science communication organizations.
Her work focuses on creating thoughtful and effective communication strategies that serve her community, as well as individuals and families at every level of engagement with her host organizations. She believes that the most important part of a forward-thinking, successful endeavor is creating engaging and thought-provoking work that serves a benevolent purpose.
She has experience conceptualizing branding and marketing strategies that meet global, organization-defined demands, as well as creating subsequent campaigns and materials that fully embody the mission and values of her organization. Her goal is to continue creating design work and communication strategies that are simultaneously beautiful and accessible to people of all walks of life.
Currently, she serves as Chief of Staff for The Anti-Boring Project, working to create and foster the development of online community spaces that help connect Neurodiverse individuals to each other, as well as with novel resources and reliable support systems. In the future, she hopes to continue her work with ABP and create educational and support resources for individuals with invisible disabilities, including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, POTS, Narcolepsy, and CFS—all of which are conditions she herself lives with and manages today.
Most of her hobbies center around thousands of pieces of very shiny cardboard for a game called Magic: The Gathering, though she does branch out into painting, horseback riding, hiking, costuming, and some other fun things here and there. She lives in Northern Metro Atlanta with her two cats, Annie and Arya, and she has entirely given up on lint-rolling even a single article of clothing that she owns.
